COST SAVING

No Gearbox Required - only a reduction box from engine to propeller - no need to put engines into neutral to stop and reverse  the propellers.

No Controlled Pitch Propeller. Single Direction Propeller - rudder geometry provides reverse and side thrust - optimum pitch propeller improves fuel economy, vessel speed and bollard pull.

Fuel Economy - Set the engine at the optimum speed and it does not need changing throughout all manoeuvring situations.

Reduced engine wear greater reliability, less maintenance and longer life.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE The Vector Thrust System can allow the operator to change from conning position to conning position without interruption to the vessels holding position whilst full operational manoeuvring control can be maintained.

Dramatically improves overall manoeuvring ability. 

If one engine fails total manoeuvrablity can be maintained.

'Walk' the vessel sideways - stern thrusters become obsolete.

Stopping distances dramatically reduce whilst maintaining  heading control.

Station keeping easily maintained.

Normal shipboard engineers for servicing.
